Women's Tea Ministry
What is a Tea Ministry?
It is an act of caring through an extension of hospitality and pastoral care to those individuals needing a little ray of sunshine in their day due to a recovery time from an illness, surgery, personal loss, emotional down or just a bad day. This act of caring is a “free gift” and comes forth in the form of sharing a cup of tea and spending time with an individual in need. It provides a time of healing through listening ears, warm smiles, encouraging words, a touch of pampering with a cup of warm tea. In a sense, it is a “thread” that continues to weave together compassionate caring for the people in our church community.
